Dr. Miriam Ramos-Ceja

Brief Bio:

Miriam E. Ramos-Ceja is the head of the eROSITA Ground Segment, leading the eROSITA Operations and the eROSITA Software Development. She received B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Guanajuato (Mexico), her M.Sc. in Astrophysics, and her Ph.D. in Natural Sciences from the University of Bonn (Germany). Before she joined MPE, she held a postdoctoral associate position at the Argelander-Institute for Astronomy (Germany).

Dr. Ramos-Ceja has coordinated the eROSITA Early Data Release and she currently leads the upcoming eROSITA Data Release 1.

Dr. Ramos-Ceja's main research interests are the astrophysics of galaxy clusters using multi-wavelength surveys, with a special focus on X-rays.
